In 1989, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

As part of our series Friday Funday, we’d like to honor the articles of the convention in the best way we know how-through the help of UNICEF’s Cartoons for Children’s Rights Initiative.

In collaboration with animation studios across the globe, UNICEF created half-minute broadcasts to represent the various articles represented in the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

We’d like to dedicate our Friday blogs for the foreseeable future to showcasing the articles, one at a time.  The great work done by UNICEF and the various artists deserves our recognition.
