Welcome to our blog

Thanks for visiting!

We’d like to thank you for taking the time to explore our blog and learn more about children with imprisoned parents and the challenges they encounter.  With a little help, we can raise awareness throughout society and make differences in the judicial system which would ensure that the trauma these children face be kept to a minimal.

No child is responsible for the actions of their parents.  We aim to ensure that the rights and dignity of these children are upheld throughout each step of their parents’ judiciary process.

We invite you to take a look around and please don’t hesitate to contact us for further information.

Friday, UNICEF, & Article 2 of the Convention of the Rights of the Child

In 1989, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

As part of a new series being introduced here on the blog-Friday Funday, we’d like to honor the articles of the convention in the best way we know how-through the help of UNICEF’s Cartoons for Children’s Rights Initiative.

In collaboration with animation studios across the globe, UNICEF created half-minute broadcasts to represent the various articles represented in the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

We’d like to dedicate our Friday blogs for the foreseeable future to showcasing the articles, one at a time.  The great work done by UNICEF deserves some recognition.

Besides, Friday is the best day for movies.

Sit back and enjoy as we present UNICEF’s version of Article 2: every child has a right to a life free from discrimination.

We certainly could not agree more.
